Law: Immigrant and Non-immigrant visas, Corporate and Business
Immigration, Extension and Change of Status, Lawful Permanent
Residence (Green Card), Deportation and Removal Defense, and
Naturalization.
Berd
& Klauss, PLLC represents clients before the United States
Citizenship and Naturalization Service (”USCIS”),
the Administrative Appeals Office (”AAO”), the
Admissibility Review Office (”ARO”), the Customs
and Board Protection (”CBP”), the Immigration
Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals (”BIA”),
the Department of Labor and the Backlog Elimination Centers
in Philadelphia and Dallas, the Department of State and U.S.
Consulates, and other relevant federal agencies, as well as
Federal and New York State Courts.
Immigration
law is federal law. We provide legal services to clients in
all 50 States. Most of the immigration work is based on written
petitions, applications, legal briefs and memoranda. Only
certain hearings in Immigration Courts and Federal Courts
require an attorney’s presence. When such a court appearance
is required, we attend the Court Hearing.
